What the houses represent
The zodiac circle is divided into twelve houses. Each house is responsible for a sphere of life. A planet in a house brings its energy to that sphere.
Personal houses
1st house — self
Appearance, first impression, approach to life. Planets here strongly color the personality.
2nd house — resources
Money, possessions, self-worth and values.

Social and spiritual houses
The 8th house covers transformation, shared resources and inheritance. The 9th is travel, higher education and beliefs. The 10th is career and public status. The 11th is friends, groups and future goals. The 12th is the subconscious, isolation, spirituality and hidden matters.
